The cover, photographed by Richard Avedon, features a model in a striking spot-black wool dress by Norell, with armor-like shaping, a plunging back, and a crisp white collar bow. Accessories include a soft feathered flower, Emmé hat, Revlon Lucite Glacé earrings, and Max Factor’s Deep Tones lipstick.
