• ON THE COVER: Marilyn Monroe, on the strength of 10 movies and thousands of still pictures, is probably the world’s best-known actress. For years a struggling unknown, she got her first break in Asphalt Jungle. Today she stars in two of 20th Century-Fox’s bright, new major musicals, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and How to Marry a Millionaire. At present Marilyn, who first appeared on SEE’s cover in July 1952, is on location in Canada making River of No Return with Rory Calhoun. A 5’5” blonde weighing 118, she likes high heels, velvety slacks and classical art.
