General Mark Wayne Clark (1896–1984) was one of the youngest U.S. Army generals to serve during World War II and a key figure in the Allied campaigns in North Africa and Italy. He played a major role in the capture of Rome in 1944 and later served as Commander of U.S. Forces in Austria. By the time of this publication, Clark had become the U.S. High Commissioner of Austria, overseeing postwar reconstruction and military governance in the American-occupied zone. Known for his strategic skill and bold leadership, he was a respected—and sometimes controversial—figure among his contemporaries.

This issue comes with a plastic protective covering for preservation. We also offer combined shipping upon request.

A strong addition to any collection focused on military history, World War II leaders, or mid-20th century geopolitics.
