Description

Vogue Magazine January 15, 1965 – Veruschka Cover by Irving Penn

From a privately held Vogue archive, 1920s–1970s. These were stored away for decades and recently brought back into circulation. We performed light, dry surface cleaning at the outer spine (vacuum/brush/smoke sponge only; no wet methods), then placed each issue in a new archival sleeve.

What to expect: honest vintage traits, binding wear or small splits, staple-rust halos, edge toning, and period shelf dust that can appear as black residue along the spine. Interiors are dry and legible. Some copies retain a light vintage paper aroma typical of mid-century magazines.

Each listing shows the exact issue you’ll receive. Any condition materially beyond the above is noted in that item’s description. These characteristics reflect long, earlier storage before we acquired the collection; all items are now housed in clean sleeves and stored upright.

This Vogue issue from January 15, 1965, features the striking Veruschka on the cover, photographed by the renowned Irving Penn. A celebration of elegance and cosmopolitan beauty, this issue highlights the refined style of mid-1960s fashion—from jersey suits and pearls to Italian brio and the rising allure of the mini-skirt. It also includes rich cultural features and photographic essays, blending art, travel, and timeless sophistication.

The condition of the item is good. The item pictured in this listing is exactly the same one you will receive. Please check the provided photos for condition purposes.

We do offer combined shipping—just ask. All of our items come with a plastic protective covering for preservation.
