Description

Vogue Magazine November 1, 1969 – Susanne Schöneborn Cover by Irving Penn

From a privately held Vogue archive, 1920s–1970s. These were stored away for decades and recently brought back into circulation. We performed light, dry surface cleaning at the outer spine (vacuum/brush/smoke sponge only; no wet methods), then placed each issue in a new archival sleeve.

What to expect: honest vintage traits, binding wear or small splits, staple-rust halos, edge toning, and period shelf dust that can appear as black residue along the spine. Interiors are dry and legible. Some copies retain a light vintage paper aroma typical of mid-century magazines.

Each listing shows the exact issue you’ll receive. Any condition materially beyond the above is noted in that item’s description. These characteristics reflect long, earlier storage before we acquired the collection; all items are now housed in clean sleeves and stored upright.

This vintage issue of Vogue Magazine from November 1, 1969, features Susanne Schöneborn photographed by the legendary Irving Penn. A true highlight of late-sixties style, this issue embodies the decade’s glamour and confidence—melding couture sophistication with the bold individuality that defined fashion at the end of the 1960s.

The condition of the item is good. The item pictured in this listing is exactly the same one you will receive.
