Description

Vogue Magazine October 1, 1969 – Jean Shrimpton Cover by Bert Stern

From a privately held Vogue archive, 1920s–1970s. These were stored away for decades and recently brought back into circulation. We performed light, dry surface cleaning at the outer spine (vacuum/brush/smoke sponge only; no wet methods), then placed each issue in a new archival sleeve.

What to expect: honest vintage traits, binding wear or small splits, staple-rust halos, edge toning, and period shelf dust that can appear as black residue along the spine. Interiors are dry and legible. Some copies retain a light vintage paper aroma typical of mid-century magazines.

Each listing shows the exact issue you’ll receive. Any condition materially beyond the above is noted in that item’s description. These characteristics reflect long, earlier storage before we acquired the collection; all items are now housed in clean sleeves and stored upright.

This Vogue issue from October 1, 1969, features the iconic model Jean Shrimpton, photographed by Bert Stern, one of the defining fashion photographers of the 1960s. Capturing the era’s elegance and experimentation, this issue reflects the transitional moment in fashion when classic sophistication met the bold creativity of the decade’s end.

The condition of the item is good. The item pictured in this listing is exactly the same one you will receive. Please check the provided photos for condition purposes.

We do offer combined shipping—just ask. All of our items come with a plastic protective covering for preservation.
